Toilet-museum, that is what this restroom in GUM department store is all about. You might use a little mental strength in order to relax in the interior of prerevolutionary Tsar Russia with historical references on the wall. The restroom reopened after reconstruction in 2011 with initial layout, marble walls and lights made of Murano glass. Make sure you are headed to the right restroom when in GUM, ask for directions at the information desk.

Built in 1933, this restroom in Moscow’s most celebrated park (to find out more on parks, go to this article) is an architectural monument to Social Realism and Soviet cultural epoch as a whole. To get to the point, you will have to descend along Corinthian columns and enter through a stained glass wooden doors.
